Published Books of Blackie the Photographer
While on Okinawa Blackie published many books with his photographs.
Several of the books mention other people as being involved in the books, Willard Howland who is named in several of the books as the editor was a friend of Blackie's and superintendent of the American Dependent School System on Okinawa at the time. Grace Howland named in one of the books was the wife of Willard Howland. Eva Sevland was a friend of Blackie's and a missionary on Okinawa.
Estimated dates of publication are shown as "ca" and based on various datable items in the photos or notes in the text. Two memo calendar books that Blackie published contain numerous photos, but it is not known if he published other years besides the two that are shown. If the name Blackie the Photographer or Blackie Bradford is not shown on the cover then an interior page with that information is shown after the cover.
