Blackie's Charity and Missionary Work
Blackie provided photographic work and support for a lot of various charities and missionary work that was happening on Okinawa. Note that Blackie's wife Virlin also supported him in those charity works herself.
Blackie provided photos for Airin-En orphanage and their book Airin-En House of Love.
Photo for Rev. Creston Ketchum and his two books Operation Goodwill and Bread Upon the Water along with a film that was shown on NBC in 1958.
Blackie published two books that were directly related to charitable and missionary work on Okinawa by Rev. Otis Bell, Eva Sevland, and Rev. Kamiyama.
